Following the stream, I come upon the home of another Kitsu, they introduce themself as Vervain. They have a house and a barn, a coop for their hens, a pen for their flock and still lots of space for more. There are fruit trees in rows and a large area, fenced for a garden. I ask if they need help, digging the dirt, planting seeds, mounding up the rows. They ask me to stay, there's plenty of room for two.
